KSLP is an early-stage venture. We wrote this policy with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 in mind, and we will keep it under review as the law and our work evolve.
01Introduction
KSLP (“KSLP”, “we”, “us” or “our”) values your privacy and is committed to protecting information that identifies you, such as your name, email address or phone number (“Personal Data”). This Privacy Policy explains who we are, what Personal Data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the rights you have in relation to it.
It applies when you visit our website at kslp.co.uk (the “Platform”), and when you contact us in connection with our research, technology, partnerships, investment or careers. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.
By using the Platform or sharing Personal Data with us, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. If you share Personal Data about someone else, or on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are entitled to do so for the purpose for which it is shared.
02Who we are
KSLP is an early-stage venture, operated by its founder, Kannam Sai Lakshmi Prasanth, that is building modelling and simulation software for nuclear energy. Formal incorporation of the company is in progress.
When we decide why and how your Personal Data is processed, we act as the data fiduciary (or data controller) under applicable law, including the DPDPA and the Information Technology Act, 2000, as amended from time to time.
03Where we collect your Personal Data from
In short: We collect only what you choose to send us, plus limited technical data that our hosting provider processes to deliver and secure the website.
- Information you provide directly: when you email us about a partnership, collaboration, investment, career opportunity or general enquiry.
- Information collected automatically: limited technical data (such as IP address and browser type) processed by our hosting and security provider when you load the website.
- Information from third parties: occasionally, details shared through professional referrals, introductions, or publicly available professional profiles, where relevant to a conversation you have started with us.
04What Personal Data we process and why
In short: The data we process depends on how you interact with us. We do not run advertising, analytics or marketing tracking on this website.

We do not use your Personal Data for automated decision-making, and we do not send marketing emails unless you have asked us to.
06Who we share your Personal Data with
In short: We do not sell, rent or trade your Personal Data. We share it only where needed to run our activities, where the law requires it, or with your consent.

Some of our service providers may process data outside your country. Where this happens, we rely on providers that apply appropriate safeguards, and transfers are made in accordance with applicable law.
07How long we keep your Personal Data
In short: We keep Personal Data only as long as we need it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time by writing to admin@kslp.co.uk.
We retain correspondence for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain a relevant conversation or relationship. Careers information is retained for up to 12 months unless you ask us to keep it longer or delete it sooner. Once data is no longer needed, we delete it securely.
We may retain limited information for longer where necessary to comply with the law, resolve disputes, or establish or defend legal claims.

In short: You may exercise the rights below at any time by writing to admin@kslp.co.uk.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We aim to respond within 30 days.
09How we protect your Personal Data
In short: We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to an early-stage venture.
- Encryption in transit: the website is served only over HTTPS.
- Minimal collection: the website has no accounts, forms that store data, or databases of visitor information.
- Restricted access: correspondence is accessible only to the people who need it to respond to you.
- Security headers: the website applies strict browser security policies to reduce the risk of attacks.
No system can guarantee complete security. If you believe your data has been compromised, please contact us immediately.
10Cookies and tracking technologies
In short: This website does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or tracking pixels.
Our fonts, images and scripts are served from our own domain, so loading the website does not share your data with third-party content providers. Our hosting and security provider may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the website from malicious traffic. These are not used to track or profile you.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.
11Third-party links
Our Platform links to external websites, such as LinkedIn and Google Scholar. Those websites are not under our control and have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. This Privacy Policy does not apply to them.
12Children
The Platform is intended for professionals and is not directed at anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children. If you believe a child has shared Personal Data with us, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in law, our practices or our services. The latest version will always be published on this page with its “last updated” date. Continued use of the Platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy, to the extent permitted by law.
